Surreal Montage

For my Surreal Montage pictures I wanted to do funny ones and pretty ones so these are in order from my most favorite to my least favorite. The first one I used a large aperture to get the details of the eye. Then I took a picture I had of a building and a tree so I just overlapped them so that it looks like theres a tree and buildings coming out of the eye. The second one was of my old backyard when it flooded then froze over. The girl I used is my neice. I used a mask and low saturation and left the yellow tu-tu's color to show a little bit. The next one I used a small aperture as well to see the blades of grass from a worms eye view I also used a large aperture for the picture of the snake. The last picture was the first one I did and it's a picture of a penguin from the Brookfield Zoo and the city of Chicago.

Panography

For my Pano project I originally edited each image so the exposure and color balance would be correct, after which I arranged all the pictures into a panography. Then I duplicated the image and warped the images to form a circle, which I replicated around itself. I kept adding layers and made sure it was centered for a balanced image. Then I added a fish eye bulge to the center to create a more spherical effect.

For my Night/Bulb project I went to places where the lights would be colorful. Using the rule of thirds, my pictures from "Nemo on Ice" became more interesting and stood out more than a picture without it would have been. Not using the flash made things more difficult because everything in that particular show is moving constantly which makes it harder to take clear pictures. The blur actually gave a nice effect to some of the pictures I took that day. The skaters' shadow is my favorite because their silhouettes stand out but that wasnt even what I was trying to photograph and it just turned out so beautifully.
